Our Mission
To unite a
team of special individuals and provide ourselves with the most
powerful, enjoyable and memorable leadership training we
possibly can.
Rotary
District 7500 is proud to announce that this year’s RYLA will be
held at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ, June 23-26,
2012.
About 160 of the best youth
leaders from Burlington, Monmouth & Ocean Counties in New Jersey
will join a seasoned staff of over 50, to learn and practice
their leadership skills in an atmosphere of acceptance,
discovery and fun.
The RYLA conference is planned
and run by the Rotary District 7500 RYLA Committee. Each team of
about 15 RYLA participants is directly supervised by two or three
counselors, who are typically one to two years older than the
participants, and one Advisor who is typically four to ten years
older than the participants.
Who pays
for RYLA?
The cost for each
participant in 2011 is $450. This price includes room, meals, a
tee shirt and all program expenses.
Participants contribute $25, the rest is paid for by Rotary.
